I had sex last night. Can I come in today for a pregnancy test?
The hormones in your body that result in a positive pregnancy test usually can’t be detected in your body until 9-11 days after fertilization. A missed period is usually the first sign of pregnancy but you can make an appointment for a test as soon as you think you might be pregnant. Our free, lab quality pregnancy test can detect the pregnancy hormone hCG as early as one day after a missed period and sometimes even earlier.
Can I come in whenever or do I need an appointment?
We want to have a special time set aside to talk with you so its best to make an appointment. If that isn’t possible feel free to stop in during our business hours. If it is after our business hours, you can always contact someone at 1-800-712-4357.
How long does an appointment last?
We try to schedule about 45 minutes for each appointment so we have time to get to know you so we can determine how we can best help you.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?
To protect your confidentiality, you’ll need to bring your valid photo ID. This can be a driver’s license, student ID or other form of photo ID.
How can I go see a doctor if I don’t have any insurance?
There are options available for those who don’t have insurance. If your test is positive we will provide you with a verification form that can be used for Medicaid application.
Can I come in and get tested for STD’s?
Yes, we provide STD testing and treatment. We also provide counseling and information. These services are all free of charge.
How do I know if have been exposed to a STD?
If you have been sexually intimate orally, anally or vaginally, you may have put yourself at risk for as STD. Its really that simple.
